What is a LED strip enclosure used for? How is it used?
First, you need to have one of the in-case LED options. For example, you bought a strip LED and installed it inside the case. You must ensure it fits snugly onto the case rail. If it doesn't fit, you should securely attach the LED you chose using double-sided thermal tape.
For aluminum cases, we recommend aluminum PCB strip LEDs. Alternatively, if the aluminum PCB has pre-drilled holes, you can use screw mounting. You should attach opaque or aluminum side panels to the top and bottom of the case. These are securely fastened with steel screws. Finally, mount a plastic diffuser cover on top. This cover will be securely attached using its dedicated rail, which is already on the case.
There is also a casing made of polycarbonate material. The rigid plastic profile is one-piece. It has no side panels. You can apply silicone sealant to both ends. You can also place LED strips inside. Because the plastic casing for LED strips is very thin, you can use it almost anywhere indoors. It is suitable for applications such as furniture, shelves, bookcases, cabinet interiors, and countertops. You can also create a hidden light recess with this product.
You will need to attach the mounting brackets to the surface. Depending on the surface, you can use screws, double-sided tape, or silicone adhesive. Finally, you attach the housing to these brackets by pushing it into place. The mounting brackets are hidden in the spaces under the LED housing. This space acts as a cable channel. Thus, neither cables nor mounting brackets are visible on the surface. You will have created a perfect surface-mounted linear LED application.
