The term UV, which stands for "Ultraviolet" in English, in Turkish ultraviolet means. UV lightis a ray with a wavelength in the range of 100 to 400 nanometres (nm).
Ultraviolet = Ultraviolet = UV = Ultraviolet
The human eye can see between 400 and 700 nm. This is why UV rays cannot be seen. Since the light that humans see with the lowest wavelength is purple in colour, the term ultraviolet is used for UV. UV rays are of 3 types.
- UV-A: 315-400 nm dalga boyu aralığındadır. Güneş ışınlarının %95’idir.
- UV-B: 280-315 nm wavelength range. It is %5 of the sun's rays.
- UV-C: 100-280 nm wavelength range. It is filtered by the atmosphere. However, it can be produced artificially.
