What is Constant Voltage Power Supply?

A constant voltage power supply consists of rectification circuits and bridge diodes that convert alternating energy (AC) into direct current (DC). The most commonly used constant voltage power supplies on the market convert 220 Volts AC energy into 12 Volts DC or 24 Volts DC voltage.

The capacity of a constant voltage power supply is expressed in Watts. Power supplies that give constant voltage from its output produce maximum current in proportion to its capacity. This determines the maximum load of the system to be connected to the power supply.

A large number of devices operating with a constant voltage DC power supply Rod LED are available. Constant voltage power supplies developed for bar LEDs can be used as constant voltage LED driver or constant voltage LED driver also sold under their name. For example, 12 VDC bar LED or 24 VDC bar LED models are the most preferred constant voltage models.
