Addressable LED Types

Addressable LED allows you to control the light and gain unlimited flexibility. This technology has recently gained rapid popularity among modern lighting solutions. Animation led products unleash your creativity in decoration and lighting. Thanks to various light animations and lighting synchronised with music, you can achieve a unique atmosphere in your living spaces.

Lighting luminaires have a large number of LEDs. Led assemblies also form pixels. For example, let's examine the DMX36RGB linear led model. This product contains 36 leds in 1 metre. Each 6 RGB led section on the PCB is equal to 1 pixel. So you can control each 6 pixels independently with control systems. Thus, the light colour and light intensity of the luminaire changes automatically according to the animation.

What are Addressable LED Types?

The products you can use addressable are most commonly RGB or RGBW. With RGB you can get almost all colours including white. But with RGBW you see white in full white. Although this is not a must, you may especially need it in some projects. You control RGB models as 3 channels and RGBW 4 channels. This changes the number of pixels you can control for each 1 universe in the DMX512 protocol.

The basic products we design with addressable leds are in the form of bar led or panel led. For linear led, we put the rod-shaped FR4 PCBs into the aluminium case. If the product will be used outdoors, we make polymer (silicone) casting inside with the help of CMC machine. We cover it with a UV-protected, sun-resistant, PMMA hard plastic diffuser cover. In wallwasher or dotled models, we use panel led PCB that we design specially for the size.

With DMX, you can give both indoor and outdoor light parties. It is even perfect for led lights that move synchronously with music, especially in entertainment venues. For example, you can decorate a wall or ceiling with colourful changing animated LEDs that accompany the music. Similarly, you can make the exterior lighting of a hotel animated. The only limit to the decorative work you will do with this system is your imagination.
